The Banting Homestead This is the childhood home of Sir Frederick Banting, who is credited with the discovery of insulin along with Charles H. Best. Visitors can wander the grounds, inspect the buildings on the property and view the stone globe and plaque that have been errected in Sir Banting's honour.
